Gateway Farm Expo

Gateway, the longest running farm show in Nebraska, is a regional show that continually draws 6000 - 8000 visitors over its two day operation each year.  Positioned right after harvest is complete, farmers and ranchers generally have a good handle on their performance, a fresh perspective on what they want to do next year, and are ready to invest in new technology, equipment and inputs.  As returning exhibitors know, sales are made at the Gateway Farm Expo!

 

Kearney Farm Expo, Inc., a nonprofit organization, and volunteers from local businesses keep the show running smoothly and allow show proceeds to be used to promote the show and further ag education in communities across Nebraska.  Every newspaper and radio station around advertise the show for weeks.  Student involved in 4-H, FFA, Ag-Business clubs and Ag related majors benefit from Gateway scholarships and donations, creating new generations of dedicated visitors and volunteers.  

 

The Gateway Farm Expo has long been held at the Buffalo Count Fairgrounds in Kearney Nebraska.  Recently renovated, the modern buildings can house over 400 exhibit spaces.  All of the 10x10's and many of the larger spaces are on concrete.  

 

After years of sell-outs, Gateway recently expanded into an additional exhibit building at the fairgrounds, adding 67 booth spaces and providing more space for large indoor equipment displays -a  common request.
