KEARNEY – The Kearney Chamber of Commerce Colonels presented their April Doing Business Award to Raising Cane’s. Colonel Chair, Scott Bazata, presented the award to Anthony Wakefield, General Manager of the Kearney location, and Matt Wachter, Operations Manager of the Kearney location.

Raising Cane's has one love – chicken fingers – and focuses its menu on fresh, made-to-order chicken fingers, homemade Cane's Sauce, grilled Texas toast, creamy coleslaw and crinkle-cut fries. At Raising Cane’s customers get an exceptionally high-quality product served quickly and conveniently. Known for its great crew, cool culture, and active community involvement, Raising Cane’s holds a strong sense of responsibility to the surrounding community and works to improve the lives of the people who make the company the success that it is.

While building the Kearney location, Raising Cane’s took into consideration that the city of Kearney was named after Fort Kearney, a place that offered protection to thousands of pioneers, Pony Express riders, and prospectors traveling west on the Oregon Trail. “The Fort” nickname for Kearney’s Raising Cane’s location honors this history, while continuing to welcome those who now live, or are traveling, through the city.

Raising Cane’s chicken fingers are a fresh, never frozen product. The business is located at 3720 2nd Avenue and is open from 10am-10pm Sunday through Thursday, or 10am-11pm on Friday and Saturday. For more information, visit their website at www.raisingcanes.com or give them a call at 308-224-3442.
