Click Family Healthcare receives Doing Business Award

KEARNEY – The Kearney Chamber of Commerce Colonels presented their August Doing Business Award to Click Family Healthcare. Colonel Chair, Scott Bazata, presented the award to John R. Jacobsen, MD.

John R. Jacobsen is a veteran family physician and Nebraska native, who built Click Family Healthcare on the Direct Primary Care model, a unique and affordable solution for families and businesses. Direct Primary Care offers a low-cost membership option for direct access to a personal doctor. The patient pays a monthly fee directly to Click Family Healthcare. The fee covers primary care services (see the Click Family Healthcare website for service listing), which for most people is 85-90% of their healthcare needs.

Click Family Healthcare foregoes health insurance, which avoids the current bureaucracy and industry charges. By not having to hire extra administrative staff, DPC’s have the time and ability to provide much more personal care at a much lower cost. The Direct Primary Care model has seen growth throughout the country, and Click Family Healthcare looks to be the only of its kind in Kearney.
