Central Community College receives February Doing Business Award

KEARNEY – The Kearney Chamber of Commerce Colonels presented their February Doing Business Award to Central Community College. Colonel Chair, Scott Bazata, presented the award to Kelly Christensen, Dean of Training/Kearney Center Administrator.

Central Community College (CCC), located at 1215 30th Ave in Kearney, sees it as their mission to maximize student and community success. They take this commitment seriously and want to become a resource for students today, tomorrow and throughout their lives.

Serving 25 counties in central Nebraska, with campuses at Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings and centers at Holdrege, Kearney and Lexington, CCC provides classes in more than 90 towns. Central Online provides the opportunity to take classes and earn degrees, diplomas and certificates online. 

CCC offers 36 career and technical education programs with a focus on degree, diploma and certificate programs requiring two years or less to complete. The college also offers an academic transfer program for students who want to complete the first two years of a bachelors degree before transferring to a 4-year college or university. Business hours for the Kearney Campus are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.
