DESCRIPTION:Minden native Laynee Dell Woodward grew up singing and performing in the community. Most recently\, Ms. Woodward was employed by Salt Marsh Opera Company where she played the role of Clorinda in the company's outreach opera\, La Cenerentola. During her time in the Maryland Opera Studio\, Ms. Woodward performed in numerous operas including Zerlina in Mozart's Don Giovanni\, The Queen of The Night in Die Zauberfl te\, Birdie in Regina\, and many others. Her performances have awarded her many recognitions including Winner of the 2014 Orchestra Omaha Young Artist Vocal Competition and First Place at Nebraska State N.A.T.S Competition in 2013. Ms. Woodward has traveled to Germany\, Austria\, Sweden\, Estonia\, and Italy through various vocal programs and has studied with many notable performers.
