DESCRIPTION:The 17th annual Prime Senior Festival sponsored by CHI Health Good Samaritan with Kearney Orthopedic and Sports Medicine\, Good Samaritan Society\, and Kearney Eye Institute\, is Thursday October 13th\, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building. There is no cost to attend this event.\n\nDon't miss Featured Speaker\, Jim Griffin on stage at 10 a.m. He will present his program titled "The North Platte Canteen" where he describes one of the largest volunteer efforts of World War II. Informative seminars will be presented throughout the event and the activities will wrap up at 1:30 p.m with a performance from Rascal Martinez. From Sutherland\, Nebraska\, Martinez performs a variety of cover songs from the 50s\, 60s\, country and alternative genres.
