DESCRIPTION:Strollin' for Streeters is a 1 mile/5k walk/run event for any and all ages. This benefit is for Denise and Mike Streeter. Mike Streeter is a vietnam veteran who was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's. He is the man who put together and takes care of the overpass east of town showing the support of all veterans with the flags. Denise Streeter is an office manager at Dandee Concrete and was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and has to have a life saving bone marrow transplant. Please come out and help support this wonderful couple that has been married 38 years this year! Following the race in the morning will be a Free Will Donation dinner/Silent Auction at the VFW Club on 1st Street. This will begin at 6:00 pm.
