"Take the Mystery out of SBA Loans" is scheduled for March 7th starting at noon at the Kearney Chamber of Commerce.\n									\n									This seminar is designed to connect many small business owners who seek financing to expand their operations and create jobs\, and for entrepreneurs resolving to take the steps to create a new business.\n									\n										 \n									\n										An important source of financing for entrepreneurs is the SBA guaranteed loan program. The SBA provides short- and long-term guaranteed loans to eligible\, credit-worthy start-ups and existing small businesses that cannot obtain financing on reasonable terms through normal lending channels. SBA provides a number of loan programs for most small business needs.\n									\n										 \n									\n										During this brief\, a representative from the SBA will explain the importance of a strong business plan\, how the SBA's resource partners -- SCORE and the Nebraska Business Development Center -- can help\, and why lenders use SBA guaranteed loans in their financing projects.\n									\n										 \n									\n										Small businesses in Nebraska who use SBA-backed financing are helping to drive economic growth in Nebraska. In Fiscal 2012\, the SBA guaranteed the second-largest dollar volume of loans to small businesses in the state's history\, $156 million.  More importantly\, as a direct result of SBA-guaranteed small business financing throughout the state\, more than 2\,000 jobs are being created and 6\,200 jobs will be kept on payrolls in Nebraska.\n									\n										 \n									\n										Seating is limited and reservations are required.  The cost to attend this lunch and learn is $15.00\, which includes your meal.  You can pay in advance or at the door.  To reserve your lunch and seat\, call the Chamber at 308-237-3101.
