19th Annual Make-A-Wish Roll N Ride

The Roll-N-Ride is a poker run that Kearney Powersports hosts each year to benefit the Make-A-Wish foundation. This year will be the 19^th annual event, held August 21st. The event has grown nearly every year – in 2019 we had over 200 bikes and roughly 300 participants.  Each participant pays a registration fee and is given a door prize as they register.  The door prizes range from a top-of-the-line leather jacket or helmet to a key chain and are all donated from our vendors and community members. The participants leave from Kearney Powersports and make 4 stops along a specified route of around 140-160 miles.   At each stop they pick up a copy of a primary sponsor’s business card.  A primary sponsor is a sponsor who has donated at least $500.  The 5^th stop is Kearney Powersports where they roll the dice 5 times.  The rolls are added together and the high and low rolls are awarded $100 Kearney Powersports gift cards.  We also sell raffle tickets for approximately 8 prizes and take donations for Make-A-Wish over the counter.  In 2019 the net proceeds for the foundation were $10,500!  We are planning on around 400 participants this year.
