3rd Annual Walk in the Copes' Shoes
Walk in the Copes' Shoes, which will be September 11-13, is a remembrance of the legacy and community support that Ron and Carol Cope gave through volunteering and donating. Walk in the Copes' Shoes began in 2013 as a way to share in the way the Copes lived by giving or doing something small that made a big difference in the lives of others. It could be a random act of kindness or a planned event. It could take five minutes or a couple of hours. It could be something small or a life-long change for the betterment of the community.
Join the Chamber in giving donations to the Kearney Area Animal Shelter! Drop off donations at the Chamber office anytime on Friday from 8am-5pm, or at the Kearney Visitor's Bureau on Saturday from 9am-5pm.
The Kearney Area Animal Shelter is in current need of the following:
- Cleaning Supplies
- Cat Litter
- Puppy Formula
- Kitten Formula
