Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Basic Knowledge Class

The Nebraska Safety Center has scheduled a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Basic Knowledge Class for April 11 & 12, 2013.

The class will be held from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm each day at the Nebraska Safety Center Driving Range, 1801 W Railroad Street, Kearney NE.

The Commercial Driver’s License Basic Skills Course is a 15-hour class. Topics covered include: General Knowledge, Transporting Cargo Safely, Air Brakes, and Combination Vehicles.

This class does not fully prepare a potential commercial vehicle driver for a career in commercial truck driving. It only provides the basic knowledge required to complete the basic CDL written tests.

Cost for the class is $150 per student.
