KEARNEY – A new group will offer support to new entrepreneurs and small business owners in Kearney.
The first meeting will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. June 1 at Cunningham’s Journal at 15 W. 23rd St.
Attendees will have the opportunity to share their success stories and their current challenges, discuss strategies, network, learn from experts, create partnerships, give advice to others and gain support and guidance.
“Starting a new business or running a small business can be overwhelming. Forming relationships allows us to learn from others, have support and accountability, and even cultivate partnerships,” said Sara Giboney, group organizer.
The meetings will feature expert speakers on topics such as social media marketing, branding, target market, finances and more. Group members are encouraged to share their topics of interest. Those topics will be discussed at future meetings.
The group receives support from the University of Nebraska at Kearney Entrepreneurship Center.
Meetings are free and open to new and small business owners and those interested in starting a business.
