Kearney's July 3 Independence Day Celebration and fireworks show returns to the Viaero Event Center.
The Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce, which hosts and organizes the fireworks show, teams with the Viaero Event Center each year in presenting the event.
Families are invited to gather and tailgate in the evening prior to the fireworks display. Those attending also are allowed to bring their own food and beverages.

Admission to the July 3 Independence Day Celebration is free. The Chamber funds the show and uses sponsorships and donations to help offset expenses. Chamber volunteers will be at the entrance the day of the event to accept donations.
