Groundbreaking Ceremony

KVFD, along with the City of Kearney invites community members to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Fire Station #3 on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
The event will take place at the future site of the station, located near the new water tower at the intersection of East 48th Street and N Avenue. This new facility represents an important investment in public safety and will support continued growth and service across the community.
Residents and community partners are encouraged to attend and help celebrate this milestone for Kearney!
