KACC Career Exploration Day

Career Exploration Day sponsored by the Nebraska National Guard and the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce, Education and Leadership Committee. Businesses and colleges from all over the state will be on display for students to explore all types of careers. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of hands-on / interactive activities and gather information. Career fields such as agriculture, construction, manufacturing, health sciences, human services, education, transportation, legal and law enforcement services, sales and marketing and entrepreneurship, will be represented. Demonstrators will explain the skills, training requirements, wage range, and satisfaction found in their careers. Students will also be able to investigate colleges and universities that provide the training needed to be successful in their fields of interest.
