Mount Carmel Home Residents Hosting Lemonade Stand for World Alzheimer’s Day
Kearney, NE – September 19, 2025 – The residents of Mount Carmel Home invite the community to join them for a Lemonade Stand Fundraiser in honor of World Alzheimer’s Day.
Date: Thursday, September 19
Location: Mount Carmel Home, Kearney, NE
Time: 10:00am-4:00pm
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association to support research, raise awareness, and provide resources for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
Mount Carmel Home is proud to be the only skilled nursing home in Kearney with a secured Alzheimer’s unit, providing 24/7 care for individuals living with the disease. This fundraiser is especially meaningful to residents, staff, and families who are personally affected by Alzheimer’s every day.
The stand will feature lemonade, hotdogs, chips, and more, with all sales benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association. Community members are encouraged to stop by, enjoy refreshments, and show support for this important cause.
