The Kearney Area Community Foundation is bringing back the Nebraska Wine & Jazz Festival back to Kearney for the fifth year. The Nebraska Wine & Jazz Festival will be held in Kearney on May 18 and 19. This statewide celebration will showcase wines from a number of Nebraska wineries and feature jazz music performed by Nebraska musicians.
The Kearney Area Community Foundation will be coordinating the event. This Festival will give recognition to Nebraska wineries, vineyards and tasting rooms, a value added segement of the Nebraska agri-tourism industry, as well as highlight talented musicians from across our great state. Proceeds from the event will go to the Foundation's general fund used for operating the organziation, as well as giving grants back to the community.
Hosting the event at the city's parking lot north of the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA), on "the Bricks" of Downtown Kearney, will continue to provide great ambiance to the event. Attendees will pay an adminssion fee and receive a souvenir glass to sample Nebraska wines and hear outstanding Nebraska jazz musicians. Patrons will also have the opportunity to purchase their favorite wine from one of Nebraska's premier vineyards, as well as delicious food from local vendors.

$20 per person/per day. Includes a wine glass and 10 tasting tickets. Must be at least 21 years old. IDs will be checked at the door.
