Senior College invites you to join Dr. Jacob Cooper as he shares how birds in a given place shed light on how climatic shifts, biogeographic barriers, and the birds themselves have played a role in creating the bird communities we see today. From backyard white-breasted nuthatches to Central African robin-chats, this talk explores the ways in which geography and climate have shaped bird communities on time scales ranging from decades to millennia. Lecture open to Senior College members and guests.
