WHY: Trees have a positive impact on our communities. Not only do they improve air quality and cool our communities, they help to reduce energy costs, increase property values and improve the overall livability of communities on the Great Plains. Healthy trees benefit communities while poorly managed ones can be costly, unsightly and dangerous.
