Tree Planting Workshop

WHEN: Thursday, September 17 Registration at 11:30 a.m.,  workshop runs from 12:00 - 4:30 p.m.

WHERE: Harmon Park Activity Building 5th Ave and West 31st St. in Kearney

FOR: This workshop was designed specifically for landscape  professionals; city employees; school maintenance staff; tree board members or anyone who cares for or manages trees.

WHY: Trees have a positive impact on our communities. Not only do they improve air quality and cool our communities, they help to reduce energy costs, increase property values and improve the overall livability of communities on the Great Plains. Healthy trees benefit communities while poorly managed ones can be costly, unsightly and dangerous. Learn best management practices that will benefit your community and landscapes for decades to come.
