Name: TriCities Economic Forum Date: September 30th 8:00 am to Noon Location: Holiday Inn Ballroom Description: The Tri-Cities Economic Forum brings together local experts from the public, private, and academic sectors to report on the state of the Tri-Cities economy. This forum represents a cooperative effort between UNK and local businesses to provide timely, accurate and objective economic data to guide local businesses while boosting economic development. The forum will be held on Friday, September 30th from 8 am to noon in the Holiday Inn in Kearney, and will include a keynote speech from Ernie Goss, an economist at Creighton University; an economic overview of the Tri-Cities area by Bree Dority and Daniel Chaffin; as well as two panel discussions the first based on the three mayors considering the public implications and the second with private business leaders reflecting on the implications for business.
