Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Customer Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Customer Service Engineer will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and customer service to our clients using Origin Engine products. This role requires a deep understanding of the product functionality, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction.
Job Description:
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers using Origin Engine products. This involves troubleshooting issues, diagnosing technical problems, and providing timely solutions to ensure minimal downtime and optimal product performance.
- Customer Interaction: Interact directly with customers to understand their technical inquiries or issues. Communicate effectively to gather necessary information, explain solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Installation and Configuration: Assist with the installation, configuration, and questions of any Origin Engine products. Guide customers through the process remotely, ensuring proper implementation and integration with existing systems.
- Maintenance and Upgrades: Communicate with customers any routine maintenance tasks and facilitate software updates or upgrades. Ensure that all systems are up to date with the latest features and security patches.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues escalated by customers. Work closely with the engineering and development teams to address bugs, glitches, or product deficiencies promptly.
- Customer Feedback: Gather customer feedback on products and services. Use this feedback to suggest improvements, new features, or modifications that can enhance customer satisfaction and product usability.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and product management to ensure a cohesive approach to customer support and service delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing technical support role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site customer support or training sessions (if applicable).
Compensation:
- Origin Engines offers a competitive salary package, commensurate with experience and qualifications. $60,000 - $70,000
