Position Summary
LOCATED IN KEARNEY, NE

Senior AV Technology Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, administration, and maintenance of audio/visual equipped spaces. Individual assumes the role of project lead on a variety of different assignments including the development and organization of AV installations, system programming/configuration, management of computers/end-user devices in the academic environment, and advanced system troubleshooting.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

 

Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent

AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)

(Will consider seven years related education/experience)
Required Experience 2 years

Experience in the service and installation of audio, video, and presentation systems. Individual shall have an advanced working knowledge of the equipment, technique, and practices of technical production for classroom and live events.

Required Other Computer Applications: Microsoft Office Suite, Windows & iOS operating systems
Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Knowledgeable of industry video standards, firewall and security technologies, a variety of video conferencing equipment, knowledge of electronics, video, audio and communications standards.
* Desktop and Video Conference Systems.
Critical thinking and independent decision making.
* Excellent customer service, interpersonal, telephone and organization skills. Ability to maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
* Multimedia equipment includes workstations (PC/Windows), projectors, Smart Boards, video/audio conferencing equipment, and a variety of software Microsoft Office suite, IE.
* Proficient speaking and written skills.

Manufacturer training in Shure, QSYS, Sennheiser, Crestron
Preferred Experience:
Completion of the level 1 manufacturers training for Crestron, QSC, and Biamp.
