CLASS Act Administrator

Position Summary

The Administrator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the CLASS Act organization according to the strategic direction established by the Board of Directors. This position works collaboratively with Board Members, volunteers, donors, sponsors, school staff, and community partners to support the mission and activities of CLASS Act.

The Administrator will work a standard 0.5 FTE schedule; however, evening and weekend hours may be required to accommodate Board meetings, fundraising events, and other organization activities. Workload may vary during fundraising and event planning periods.

Professional Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • Prior experience in management, administrative, nonprofit, or event coordination preferred. 

  • Relevant experience in marketing and social media required. 

  Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including public speaking.

  • Budget management skills; including proficiency with financial management systems preferred.

  • Strong computer skills; including word processing, email, internet, and social media.

  • Ability to collaborate with and motivate Board Members and volunteers.

  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
