Dunk for Disaster Relief Fund
Kearney, Nebr., July 26, 2019

Parker team members in Kearney, NE, recently presented the Kearney Area Community Foundation with a check for $4,000 for the local Disaster Relief Fund. The Disaster Relief Fund was created to help those in the Kearney area suffering losses from recent devastating flooding. Team members raised the funds at a dunk tank featuring facility managers, supervisors and Human Resources personnel during a facility-wide “Winning Performance” celebration.

“As of today, there are more than 300 people in need in the Kearney area,” said Judi Sickler, President, Kearney Area Community Foundation. “The Disaster Relief Fund will be assisting with basic necessities such as clothing and other items such as dehumidifiers and water heaters. This donation will go a long way and for flood victims, just knowing that a lot of the community is behind them, is really a great thing.”

“This kind of effort by our team members aligns with Parker’s values and our commitment to our community,” said Denis Williams, General Manager, Parker Engine Mobile Aftermarket Division.
