The Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce Business & Education Committee presented its November Spotlight Business Award to Inter-Motion. The award was presented to CEO, Ronny Roberts, by Mark Liljehorn, Committee Chair.

Inter-Motion, a professional machine tool rebuilding company, takes (as they describe) “hopelessly outdated machinery and rebuilds the product to above and beyond today’s standards.” Sounds simple, but the work performed at Inter-Motion is manufacturing magic. Examples of their work include integrating robotics with current or rebuilt machines, in-house retrofit, adding or incorporating conveyor systems to existing cells, upgrading safety devices and installing safety cages that are above and beyond OSHA standards.

For nearly 25 years, Inter-Motion has performed their proven rebuild methodology to perfection. With over 20 employees, Inter-Motion can rebuild or design and build any system for today’s everchanging manufacturing environments, and their custom design capabilities are not limited to machine rebuilds. Whether needs call for a turnkey machine, safety enclosure, electrical retrofit, conveying system or process control system, Inter-Motion’s design and service teams are ready to help. With roots deep in the Midwest, Inter-Motion takes their work ethic and workmanship seriously.
