Community Service Officer Full Time & Park Time
The Kearney Police Department is looking for an outgoing and motivated individual to enforce special infractions of municipal ordinances, support Police Officers with calls for service, provide traffic control and perform public service tasks. Work varies somewhat, within prescribed standards and procedures. Must have high school diploma or GED, computer skills, and a valid Nebraska Driver’s License. TURF SPECIALIST
Under general direction, performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance of turf throughout the park system. Requires a high school diploma/GED and two (2) years’ experience in turf maintenance. Degree in turf grass and landscape management, horticulture, or similar field preferred. Must have experience with turf products, product labels, herbicide and fertilizer application, and knowledge of calibration of equipment for turf management. EPA pesticide applicator’s license
