Seasonal Lab Tech

Position: Lab Tech (Log-In Tech) – Seasonal Position
Location: Kearney, NE
Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM (hours may vary)

About the Role:

Ready to mix outdoor activity with office organization? As a Lab Tech (Log-In Tech), you’ll play a vital role in keeping samples organized, stored and ready for processing. This seasonal position runs until mid-December (or longer!) making it a great opportunity to build experience and earn extra holiday cash.

This is the perfect fit for someone who enjoys a balance of physical activity, data entry and customer interaction.

What You’ll Do:

• Receive and store customer samples in an outdoor storage unit (about 30% of the job)

• Retrieve and organize samples when needed

• Assign lab numbers and keep records organized in the log-in room (about 70% of the job)

• Work with Excel and data entry systems to maintain accuracy

• Provide great customer service when handling samples

What We’re Looking For:

• Dependable with great attendance

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds

• Willing to work outside in varying conditions

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Experience with Excel, data entry and customer service preferred
