Computer Support Technician

The City of Kearney is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can provide support for a Microsoft Windows based Local and Wide area network. Install and repair personal computers and related software applications. Perform work requiring implementation of course of action; adjust methods to meet task requirements with some interpretive judgment required.  Preferred: Education and experience equivalent to an Associate’s degree in Computer Sciences or closely related field.  Experience with PC based equipment operation and knowledge of personal computer hardware and software installation and configuration.
 
Two years software experience with Central Square Public Safety, Tyler Technology New World ERP, Microsoft Office and Laserfische preferred. Must possess a valid Nebraska driver’s license.  A 30-minute residency response time is required.  The City offers full benefits which includes 12 paid holidays, health/dental insurance, 6% 401A Retirement Match, and more.
 
Hourly pay range: $29.84 - $43.37 DOQ.
