Marketing Intern

The City of Kearney Administration Department, is seeking a creative and engaging intern to join our team.  The Marketing Intern will work closely with the City Manager’s Office in developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance community engagement and promote city initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience in marketing, graphic design, social media, and communications within a local government setting.  Applicant must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.  Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, proficiency in social media platforms and graphic design tools, and interest in public service and municipal government.  Prefer possession of a valid Nebraska driver’s license.
 
Hourly pay rate: $15.00
