Assistant Human Resources Director

The City of Kearney is seeking an experienced, organized, and self-motivated professional to support and help lead key Human Resources functions. This role assists with planning and implementing HR initiatives, including benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding, and reporting, while maintaining complex data systems and preparing detailed reports. 
 
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field required, along with five years of administrative experience, including at least three years in benefits administration. Advanced Excel skills and a valid driver’s license required.
