Senior Director of Youth Development - Kearney Family YMCA
The Kearney Family YMCA is looking for a Senior Director of Youth Development:
1. Expands and develops programming to meet the growing community need by increasing access to safe, quality, affordable child care
2. Leads and influences peers in the YMCA to enhance the experience in on and off site child care through the connection to other YMCA Youth and Family Programs
3. Collaborates with community partners, businesses, university, health care, and other child care providers to foster strong relationships and integrated partnership resulting in long term sustainability and quality enhancements community wide.
4. Develops and manages budgets for Childcare, Before and After School, Camp, and Schools Day Out
5. Recruits, hires, trains, and develops childcare team in Childcare, Before and After School, Camp, and Schools Day Out
6. Acts as the Kearney Family YMCA Child Protection Guardian, working with YUSA and Praesidium (along with other partners) to ensure child safety throughout the YMCA
7. Works closely with child care partners to ensure YMCA maintains and exceeds standards in licensing and other requirements.
8. Writes grants, accesses available funding, and maintains reporting requirements to ensure that care at the YMCA can stay affordable to all families.
