Airport Operations Worker

The City of Kearney Airport is looking for a hard-working individual to join their team!  Perform a variety of tasks in the maintenance, repair of airport buildings and grounds, winter operations, snow removal and Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) duties. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school diploma or GED with two years progressively responsible work in manual labor and the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment including grounds maintenance experience. 
 
Ability to complete initial 40-hour ARFF qualification course, recurrent annual ARFF certification training, annual ARFF live-fire refresher training and emergency exercises and drills. Must possess a valid Nebraska Driver’s License and be able to obtain pesticide applicator’s license within 6 months of hire. A 30-minute residency response time is required.
