Under the direction of the Director of Facilities Management and Planning, the Construction Services Manager provides leadership and oversight for in-house campus construction, renovation, and minor capital improvement activities. This position manages the campus construction team and ensures projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with university standards, building codes, and budget parameters. The Construction Services Manager oversees project execution from scope development through completion and supports the strategic use of in-house labor for renovations and small construction projects.
The Construction Services Manager serves as the primary liaison between Facilities Maintenance and the University's Capital Projects group within the Office of the President. This role provides constructability input, coordination support, and operational transition planning to ensure capital projects integrate effectively into ongoing campus maintenance and operations.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining construction quality, protecting institutional assets, and ensuring long-term maintainability of campus facilities.

Required Qualifications:
?Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of seven years' of progressively responsible experience in construction, facilities operations, or construction management.
- Minimum of five years' supervisory experience.
- Valid Nebraska driver's license (within 6 months of hire).
- Good oral, writing, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ten years' related work experience in maintenance operations or construction management.
- Seven years' supervisory experience.
