Job Duties:
- Repairs and maintains piping systems and plumbing fixtures.
- Inspect all connections and other piping systems and plumbing fixtures.
- Replace defective pipe by cutting, bending, threading and assembling pipe.
- Solders and caulks leaks and broken pipes.
- Opens and repairs drains.
- Repairs or replaces damaged plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs and/or connections to seal joints where necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- High School education or GED
- 2 years or related experience
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, and shop drawings
- Valid motor vehicle operator's license
- Master Plumbing License for the City of Kearney
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years or related experience
- Grade 6 Backflow License
